Eagle Rock Red
2006 Adler Fels Russian River Valley Eagle Rock Red
Wine
This red wine reminds us of how bold nature can be. It has remarkable richness and dense, ripe berry flavors. The wine is a blend of Syrah and Petite Sirah. The Salzgeber Vineyard in the Russian River Valley is our main source for Syrah while the Petite Syrah comes from the Napa Valley. On the nose, aromas of crushed berries lead to more savory characters. The palate shows ripe berry fruit flavors that lead to slightly earthy notes. Eighteen months of aging in French oak barrels gives the wine balanced toasty oak characters and fine tannins on the finish.
