Cabernet Sauvignon
2005 and 2006 Adler Fels Russian River Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Wine
The grapes for our Cabernet Sauvignon are primarily from the Salzgeber Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. A portion of the grapes came from the Osborn Vineyard in Alexander Valley which gave compexity to the wine. An extended growing season late harvest dates allowed the grapes to fully ripen. The wine was aged for over two years in French oak barrels. The result is a wine with rich fruit aromas and flavors of blaccurrant, plum and blueberry layered with notes of vanilla, dried herbs and toasty oak. This wine has an elegant structure and a long finish.
