Zinfandel
2007 Leaping Lizard Sonoma County Zinfandel
Wine
Leaping Lizard Zinfandel showcases bright fruit aromas of blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry layered with hints of graham cracker and caramel. This wine is aged in a mix of French, Eastern European and American oak barrels for 11 months, which contributes a hint of toasty oak to the nose. On the palate, this wine exhibits lingering flavors of ripe red berry fruit, black olive and graham cracker and slight black pepper on the finish.
