2008 Adler Fels Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc

The grapes for our 2008 Sauvignon Blanc were gently pressed immediately after harvesting in early September. Our grapes exhibit great varietal intensity as a result of restrained yields (less than 4 tons per acre). This wine underwent fermentation in stainless steel tanks to retain freshness and preserve its delicate fruit characters. Our Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of pineapple, gooseberry, grapefruit, and citrus peel. The palate is juicy with ripe pineapple and gooseberry flavors and the finish exhibits a slight mineral character and subtle lime notes.
